Giorgio Rusignuolo began his engineering career with a clear conviction: that the most valuable thing an engineer can do is make things work — not just on paper, but in the real world. Over 35 years, that conviction shaped every role he took on, every team he led, and every product he brought to market.

His career with Carrier Corporation spanned more than three decades, during which he rose to Vice President of R&D — leading global engineering teams across multiple continents, launching over 50 product families, and earning more than 10 inventions. He operated across all segments of the HVACR industry: residential, commercial, transport refrigeration, and beyond.

Along the way, Giorgio was appointed author for the United Nations Environment Programme's Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps Technical Options Committee — contributing to landmark assessment reports in 2014, 2018, and 2022 that shaped refrigerant policy across the globe.
